The isolation and social distancing measures adopted due to the COVID-19 pandemic affected an outreach project implemented by means of technical training workshops with participatory exchange that was designed in order to promote rural development in the northwest of the province of Córdoba. The beneficiaries of the program are socially vulnerable livestock producers that practice subsistence livestock due to limited or nonexistent technological methods and training, both required to carry out sustainable practices. In this unexpected context, we redesigned the activities in order to maintain the connection with the group and the assistance provided to it and to avoid the worsening of the fragile socioeconomic conditions of the 37 family producers. Each month, "technical cards" addressing diagnosed emerging problems were designed. These cards included practical recommendations for general productive management to be implemented in the herds of the producer depending on the season of the year. This methodology or assisting tool used in rural extension as techniques of operative groups allowed the continuation of the connection with the group and the training until the face-to-face workshops could be held again. Currently, a set of actions are being formulated to reinforce the objectives of the project under the established safety protocols. The activity was carried out because of the support provided by producers of the rural establishment (in Tulumba, Córdoba) where the face-to-face field workshops were developed. Las medidas de aislamiento y distanciamiento social dispuestas a causa de la “Pandemia” afectaron el Proyecto de Extensión que se implementó mediante “Talleres de Capacitacion Técnica con intercambio participativo para promover el desarrollo rural en el noroeste de la provincia de Córdoba”. Los destinatarios son productores ganaderos socialmente vulnerables, caracterizados por desarrollar ganadería de subsistencia por la escasa o nula incorporación tecnológica y capacitación requerida para gestionar procedimientos sustentables. Bajo este escenario desconocido se reformularon las acciones para continuar con la vinculación y asistencia al grupo, y evitar aumentar las condiciones de fragilidad socio–económica de los 37 productores familiares. Se diseñaron “Cartillas Técnicas” mensualmente en las que se abordaron las problemáticas emergentes diagnosticadas, incluyendo recomendaciones prácticas de “manejo productivo general” para aplicar en sus rodeos según la época del año. Esta metodología o instrumento de asistencia utilizada en Extensión Rural como técnicas de grupos operativos, permitió continuar con la vinculación/capacitación hasta volver a generar los talleres presenciales. En la actualidad se están formulando acciones para reforzar los objetivos del proyecto bajo los protocolos sanitarios establecidos. La actividad se concretó por el apoyo del productor del establecimiento rural (Dpto. Tulumba) donde se desarrollaban los Talleres a Campo presenciales.
