Narra la historia de la búsqueda y la lucha burocrática, judicial y política de una madre del sector popular para conseguir la interrupción legal del embarazo para su hija de 19 años, con discapacidad cognitiva. El film nos muestra cómo en la cotidianeidad de una consulta médica se construye el famoso caso “LMR vs el Estado Argentino” ante la Corte Interamericana de Derechos, previo paso por la Corte Suprema de la Nación Argentina. Conta a história da busca e da luta burocrática, judicial e política de uma mãe do setor popular para obter a interrupção legal da gravidez para sua filha de 19 anos, que tem uma deficiência cognitiva. O filme nos mostra como o famoso caso "LMR vs o Estado argentino" perante a Corte Interamericana de Direitos, após passar pela Suprema Corte da Argentina, é construído na vida cotidiana de um consultório médico.
