However, we postulate that the ways of departure and the route to arrive in France will have an impact on the settling in France, which will later have consequences on the integration of the exile. We will take as a documentary basis the administrative files of the French Office for Refugees and Stateless People (OFPRA) whose consultation has only been possible since 2010 when the History Section was created and the files were partially opened. I was able to consult 889 adult exile files, which represents a valuable source to analyze a phenomenon that cannot yet be studied in diplomatic archives whose access is still prohibited or very limited in France for such close periods. El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en el análisis de los itinerarios de los exiliados chilenos que llegaron a Francia y la formulación de explicaciones o hipotesis para entenderlos en el contexto de la época ya que postulamos que las formas y condiciones de la salida y del recorrido tuvieron un impacto sobre la manera de instalarse en Francia la cual luego tendrá consecuencias sobre la integración del exiliado. Tomaremos como base documental los archivos administrativos de la Oficina Francesa Para Refugiados y Apátridas (OFPRA) cuya consulta solo es posible desde el año 2010 cuando se creó la Sección de Historia y se abrieron parcialmente los archivos. Pude consultar 889 expedientes de exiliados adultos lo que representa una fuente valiosa para analizar un fenómeno que aún no se puede estudiar en los archivos diplomáticos cuyo acceso sigue prohibido o muy limitado en Francia para períodos tan cercanos.
