I10-R10-article-312862020-12-15T00:31:37Z The synchronic speech in Córdoba city El habla de la ciudad de Córdoba en sincronía Grana, Romina Masih, Mariela spanish Córdoba variability synchrony society español Córdoba variabilidad sincronía sociedad Some contributions researched during the last years by the members of the Investigation team called “Linguistic Unity and Linguistic Variation: The Spanish in Córdoba (Argentina) during XXI century” will be socialized in this article. The main objective was focused in the review of how do the citizens of Córdoba speak during the synchronic of 2018. We started with the assumption that knowing an actual phase of the language allows us to illuminate the changes that Spanish suffered during its long diachrony, with a special focus on the diatopic variants. This can also show possible on-going changes and some others that are setbacks. Although this is a contribution where History of the Language and Dialectology display their own interests, the contributions of Sociological Linguistics must not to be missed as regards as this objective because the focus is in the correlation of linguistic variants, such as verbs, clitic pronouns and some phonetic and phonological phenomena with certain social variants. The methodology is developed as a combined method within quantitative dimension and qualitative dimension and the corpus was made of open interviews, which means spontaneous conversations with people born and raised in the city.
