In order to contribute to the construction of knowledge about the relationship about young people and digital technologies, a survey to 505 students of the basic cycle of a technical secondary school in Argentina was carried out. The main dimensions taked into account are: relations with the media, their self perception about the multiple screens, uses, customs, learning and content consumption on the screens and questions about privacy and associated risks. Finally, a series of points of highlighs, derived from the analysis of data, and a link with educational actions that can help improve the teaching experience are presented. Habitamos un mundo complejo, expandido y enriquecido por las tecnologías digitales, fundado en el paradigma informacionalista y con estructura en forma de red (Castells, 2002), donde los jóvenes están construyendo nuevas formas de relación con el mundo y, en particular, con el saber. A los efectos de contribuir a la construcción de conocimientos sobre tal relación (la de los jóvenes estudiantes con las tecnologías digitales) se aplicó una encuesta a 505 estudiantes del ciclo básico de una escuela secundaria técnica en Argentina. Las dimensiones principales tenidas en cuenta fueron la relación con los medios, lo que manifiestan saber en sus múltiples pantallas, los usos, las costumbres, los aprendizajes, los consumos en sus pantallas, las cuestiones sobre privacidad y los riesgos asociados. Finalmente, se presentan una serie de puntos a destacar, derivados del análisis de los datos recogidos, y una vinculación con posibles acciones educativas que ayudarían a mejorar la experiencia docente.
