I10-R10-article-266682020-02-13T20:58:14Z Photojornalism and subjectivity in dictatorship time: production of senses and their relationships with feminisms Fotojornalismo e subjetividade em tempos de ditadura: produção de sentidos e suas relações com os feminismos Schmitt, Elaine Fotojornalismo Feminismos Ditadura militar This article aims to reflect about the divergences printed in the construction of the photojournalistic look crossed by the binary cultural logic, which is divided between masculine and feminine. From the photojournalistic productions of Rosa Gauditano and Evandro Teixeira, carried out during the brazilian’s military dictatorship of 1964, and from testimonies of other brazilian photojournalists, we provoke an interdisciplinary re-reading about the possible division of looks in comparison with texts of Veiga (2012), Hall (2006), Alvarez (2016), among others. The preliminary results reveal the existence of a possibly transformative element in the production process of brazilian’s female photojournalists: the influence of feminist movements.
