Reflexiones a 20 años de un fenómeno emblemático Arias Bucciarelli, Mario Conflictividad Social “Puebladas” Cutral Co/Plaza Huincul Disputas historiográficas Social Conflict “Puebladas” Cutral Co /Plaza Huincul Historiographic Disputes In the context of the emerging social conflict in Latin America in the 1990s, this article reflects on an emblematic case of recent historic Argentina: the "puebladas" of Cutral Co / Huincul. In this direction and re visiting the abundant bibliographic production of regional / national scope and the different theoretical methodological perspectives used; we propose: 1). trace the conceptualizations that have been explored; 2) propose an alternative explanation and 3) put into tension those interpretations that place the facts of the oil region as the beginning of a rebellious / revolutionary moment on a national scale and a significant cleavage in the formation of a piquetero collective identity that would have resulted in the constitution of a new subject and a social movement that challenges the existing order. En el contexto de la conflictividad social emergente en América Latina en la década de 1990, el presente artículo reflexiona sobre un caso emblemático de la histórica Argentina reciente: las “puebladas” de Cutral Co/Huincul. En esta dirección y re visitando la abundante producción bibliográfica de ámbito regional/nacional y las diferentes perspectivas teóricas metodológicas utilizadas; nos proponemos: 1). rastrear las conceptualizaciones que se han ido explorando; 2) proponer una explicación alternativa y 3) poner en tensión aquellas interpretaciones que colocan los hechos de la comarca petrolera como el inicio de un momento contestatario/revolucionario a escala nacional y un clivaje significativo en la formación de una identidad colectiva piquetera que habría derivado en la constitución de un nuevo sujeto y un movimiento social impugnador del orden existente.
