Dispositions that in turn, were taken to the practice by consular civil servants by these social representations constructed in the same ministerial area. En el presente trabajo, nos proponemos analizar la particular mirada a través de la cual los funcionarios diplomáticos argentinos radicados en España observaron el cambiante proceso político por el que atravesó dicho país, desde la proclamación de la II República española en 1931 hasta el estallido de la Guerra Civil en 1936. Sostendremos como principal hipótesis que las percepciones que los agentes ministeriales fueron construyendo acerca de la realidad política peninsular a lo largo de esos años, constituyeron uno de los principales parámetros a partir del cual el Estado argentino observó los acontecimientos que se desencadenaban en España, y en buena medida, contribuyeron al despliegue de políticas tendientes a restringir el ingreso de inmigrantes españoles al país desde el inicio mismo de la contienda civil. Disposiciones que a su vez, fueron llevadas a la práctica por funcionarios consulares permeados por esas representaciones sociales construidas en el mismo ámbito ministerial.
