La ciencia de la Archivología ha avanzado a pasos firmes dejando bien en claro los procedimientos para la conservación de los documentos que forman parte del patrimonio de los pueblos. Tomando los conceptos que nos brinda la Archiveconomía, sobre las características que debe reunir un edificio de archivo, podemos y debemos implementar toda la tecnología que se encuentra disponible para hacer mucho más eficiente la tarea del profesional de la archivología.Numerosas son las aplicaciones de la tecnología que deben implementarse en los edificios destinados para archivos de documentos, entre tantas podemos mencionar los equipos de climatización, el control eléctrico que permitirá el ahorro necesario de energía, la seguridad contra robo e incendio, y la correcta utilización del software y hardware para el desarrollo de las mejoras continuas de los servicios de archivo.En esta presentación nos introduciremos en el mundo tecnológico que puede y debe ser aplicado a los archivos, seguramente el lector se llevará una idea cabal de cómo y qué elementos se pueden tener en cuenta para la implementación de estas nuevas innovaciones.AbstractThe science of Archivology has advanced firmly, stating clearly the procedures for the preservation of the documents that are part of the patrimony of the peoples. Taking into account the concepts that the Achieve-economy provides to us about the characteristics that an archive building must have, we can and we must implement all the available technology to make more efficient the task of the professional of Archivology.There are a large number of uses of this technology that should be implemented in the buildings which are used to file documents, among them, we can mention the air conditioning equipments, the electricity control in order to save energy, the theft and fire insurance, and the proper use of software and hardware for the development of the ongoing improvements in the services of archive.In this presentation, we bring in to the world of technology that can and should be applied to the archive, for sure, the reader will understand thoroughly how and which elements can be taken into account for the implementation of these innovations.Key words: Archive, Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Domotics.
