The purpose is to simplify, for the convenience of readers, the explanation of the applicable maritime law. It is not an analysis of the decision of the Court in this case. Este comentario hace un análisis didáctico de la situación actual del caso de San Andrés y Providencia entre Colombia y Nicaragua, luego de la presentación de las cuatro estrategias del gobierno del presidente Santos y de la nueva demanda de Nicaragua ante la Corte Internacional de Justicia (CIJ). La metodología busca simplificar al máximo, para facilidad de los lectores, el tema del derecho del mar. No pretende ser un análisis de la sentencia de la Corte Internacional de Justicia en el caso.
