<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The right to access public Information has experienced very important changes in recent Argentine legislation, both at the national and provincial level. This article studies comparatively the first two norms approved after the publication of the normative model of the Organization of American States (OAS): the one referring to the national administration and the one sanctioned in the Province of Mendoza. The article also analyzes two key conditions for the progress in the implementation of both regulations: the institutional design of the enforcement authorities and the design of administrative and technological devices that favor the citizen’s exercise of this right.</dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="es-ES">El derecho de acceso a la información pública ha experimentado cambios muy importantes en la legislación argentina reciente, tanto en el nivel nacional como provincial. El artículo analiza comparativamente las dos primeras normas aprobadas luego de la difusión del modelo normativo de la Organización de Estados Americanos (OEA): la referida a la administración nacional y la sancionada en la provincia de Mendoza. Asimismo, se analizan dos condiciones fundamentales en el avance en la implementación de estas normativas como es el diseño institucional de las autoridades de aplicación y el diseño de dispositivos administrativos y tecnológicos que favorezcan el ejercicio ciudadano de este derecho.</dc:description>
