Sumario:We consider emissions that do not contain sufficient buoyancy to penetrate the capping inversion. The buoyancy at the release point is introduced by the "plume rise' concept and an expression for the plume centerline height under convective conditions is included. The ground level, dimensionless crosswind-integrated concentration estimated by the model is compared with laboratory data. The model underestimates the observed values with a mean error of 20%, and shows differences of about 8% near the source. -from Authors
