Sumario:The modifications undergone by a bidimensional Gaussian beam incident on an isotropic-anisotropic uniaxial medium interface when it is reflected and transmitted are analytically determined by developing one of the components of the wavenumber vectors up to second order. The description in terms of the spectrum of plane waves is used as a starting point. The case of uniaxial crystals with optical axis in any orientation relative to the interface but along the plane containing the mean incidence direction and the normal to the interface is considered. Moreover, the influence of the polarization modes and of the characteristics of the media in the appearance of the different non-geometrical effects is analysed.
