Effect of glucosamine on the replication of the arenavirus junín in vero cells
When Vero cells infected with Junin virus are cultured in the presence of 16 mM glucosamine, no infectious virus is produced and no surface antigens or virions are detected. Cytoplasmic viral antigen, however, is synthesized normally. © 1979 S. Karger AG, Basel.
