Sumario:To optically test a volume, amplitude division two beam interferometers illuminated by spatially incoherent sources are often preferable because the fringes are localized and free from coherent noise. When the source is periodic, non-classical localization planes of various orders appear. For monochromatic radiation and certain order, if the source period varies, the localization plane shifts allowing the examination of different layers with no additional change in the configuration. In this paper, interferograms that would appear on various planes with sources of adequate periods are digitally synthesised using a video recorded on one plane while a linear source translates.
