Sumario: | The K-Rb Fermi-Bose mixture was studied with attractive mutual interaction. A Bose condensate (B) and a degenerate Fermi gas (F), were considered, at zero temperature confined in an axially symmetric harmonic trap. Two potential circumstances were studied, one in which bosons are in a vortex state, and in the other the minima of the trapping potentials for bosons and fermions are shifted from each other. The results show that the critical atomic numbers that the mixture can sustain before it collapses may be increased shifting the still overlapping confining potentials, or when the condensate hosts a quantized vortex line. |
