| Sumario: | Railway heritage includes historical elements of rail transport within the broader field of industrial heritage. However, in Argentina, full recognition of this legacy has not yet been achieved, often being limited only to the protection of monuments. This situation is particularly risky in cities such as Santa Fe, which faces pressures from real estate development over former railway lands. The aim of this article is to highlight three ways in which industrial heritage is made invisible in this case study, through the examination of projects, regulations, and works affecting the former Santa Fe Stationof the Belgrano Railway, as a way of raising awareness about the potential loss of historical identity in urban renewal processes. The research was carried out with a qualitative approach, based on documentary analysis, fieldwork, and key informant interviews. |
