Sumario:I present an experience implemented in the Chair of Semiotics (Department of Social Communication) in the Virtual Classroom in 2021 and 2022. From this, we compiled a corpus of students' autobiographical narratives about their own experiences with the use and consumption of audiovisual communication. These corpuses were added to the corpus of audiovisual productions by high school students in the province of Misiones, addressed in the "Audiovisual Communication and Education" Research Project we developed from 2020 to 2024 (Semiotics Laboratory).  The narrative framework of this retrospective experiential media "ecology" exhibits clues that could guide an epochal montage of some of the semiospheric reconfigurations, environments, and ways of life in the contemporary world in recent decades.  This methodological strategy, which makes the investigative design more flexible and modern and articulates teaching and research, allows us to exercise certain disciplinary relocations, reshape the theoretical and methodological path, and consider possible semiotic, communicative, and educational interventions in different fields.
