Sumario:Temporary rentals offered through digital platforms represent a growing phenomenon that is exacerbating the already challenging access to permanent housing conditions in several of the most prominent tourist cities across the country. The objective of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of temporary rentals in Puerto Madryn (Chubut, Argentina) by characterizing the supply, analyzing regulations, and assessing their territorial impacts. The methodology was based on the collection, systematization, and analysis of secondary sources (records from the Municipal Tourism Secretariat) and collection of primary data from two digital temporary rental platforms. A comparative analysis of the platforms' offerings reveals marked disparities in the volume of registered offers by Booking and Airbnb in 2025. Furthermore, an examination of territorial impacts of temporary rental supply reveals significant spatial overlaps with tenant households in central and southern areas of the city.
