It is based on the premise that identity is not a fixed attribute, but a dynamic semiotic production. Within this framework, forced displacement, beyond its geographical dimension, disrupts the affective, territorial, and symbolic bonds of women, generating a fracture in their existential continuity. Through testimony, understood as a discursive practice, narrative trajectories emerge that articulate uprooting, meaninglessness, and subsequently, identity readjustment. The study shows that women resignify their experiences through processes of rooting, reconstruction of the sense of belonging, and reappropriation of territory. These findings contribute to the understanding of identity transformations as effects of meaning configured within the web of social, affective, and cultural interactions, thus making visible symbolic resistance against exclusion and structural violence.
