Sumario:The present work evidences the reluctance of the population to settle in areas that are not legally authorized and geographically insecure within Mexico City, fostering problems of informal urban settlement known as parachuting. Therefore, the objective of the present analysis is to implement possible solutions to these settlements based on cartographic samples that show the expansion of such parachuting in the future, specifying that the irregular urban occupation forges confrontations between government personnel and population groups called Neighborhood Assemblies. Currently there is a deep reluctance of the parachutists to be relocated due to multiple episodes of violence between the government and the Neighborhood Assemblies, pointing out that the present work evidences that under no circumstances can one inhabit places where there is an owner, Natural Protected Areas, Environmental Value Areas or zones of environmental value, Areas of Environmental Value or risk zones, areas that were chosen by people who currently establish their informal patrimony, the above is mentioned with the objective of reaching an agreement between members of the Neighborhood Assemblies and the governmental apparatus with the purpose of executing effective urban solutions in the future.
