Case study: small sustainable wooden house, materiality for a new architecture

With the aim of divulge and teaching the construction systems in wood, we present as an object of study a real case built in the south of Mar del Plata;  a small house of 21 m2 of footprint that materializes 7 premises related to sustainable architecture:Bioclimatic design, low-impact construction s...

Its dimensions were studied based on the concept of tiny house with a sense of shelter and maximum relationship with nature. The objective was to achieve the greatest comfort and quality of life, in the smallest built space,  putting in value the wood and the prefabricated systems, under a detailed process of design, modeling and planning for its successful materialization.
