| Sumario: | The work proposes an analysis of sustainability in the technology of architecture, based on the study of a case of compact housing. It is affirmed that all human intervention threatens the sustainability of the planet, in a joint relationship between economic-cultural cost, environmental impact and energy consumption. Therefore, we can only speak of "degrees of sustainability" of greater or lesser affection. For the development, a methodology is proposed that integrates the qualitative and quantitative study, recovering previous research. The technological and thermo-energetic characteristics of the analysis unit are evaluated, diagnosing general and particular aspects in its life cycle. Improvement in efficiency and sustainability is proposed. And it concludes by pondering strategies of singular and representative value, considering sustainability as an exercise of coherence, in an invitation to its promotion, awareness and re-education. |
