Sumario:This article revisits the thesis of the end of schooling under the light of the experience of the pandemic and with media theory as theoretical background. Equipped with this framework, it analyzes schooling as a dynamic media ecosystem and a socio-technical assemblage that is being reconfigured by digital media. It then studies some maps or diagrams produced by Argentinean teachers during the pandemic about their socio-material environment. In these visualizations, the reorganization of “schools without walls” is made evident, as well as some of its effects on school organization and teachers’ work.
