| Sumario: | A series of theoretical considerations are made about the relations between the materialization of ideology and rituals of sanctification, and processes of sociopolitical complexity which ocurred during the Middle or Integration Period (550-900 A.D.) in Famatina Department, La Rioja Province. Starting from archaeological work carried out at La Cuestecilla, the spatial hierarchisation of the site is analyzed taking into account the distribution of architectonical structures and ceramical material collected on surface. Finaly, some considerations are made about its hierarchical position within a group of cites that shoud found sociopolitical integrated at regional level. |
