Sumario:This is a thesis of research and theoretical innovation. It describes and demonstrates the theoretical and practical functioning of a third graphic language: the TDE or Relational Geometric Projections (Guerri 2012) suitable for research, notation and production of pure design 2D operations (Jannello 1980). It is demonstrated by means of the Semiotic Nonagon (Guerri 2014; 2016) -an operative model with a logical-Peircean base- the absence and at the same time the necessity of the existence of a third graphic language after the methodological construction of the Perspective-Conic Projections, XV century- and the Monge System- Concerted Orthogonal Projections, XVIII century. The development stems from a great idea by César V. Jannello in the 1970s that he called Theory of Delimitation (Jannello 1977: 24-28) and pointed in that first stage to a 'system of form' similar to the well-known systems of color. In this thesis the limiting error of the concept 'delimitation' is sustained and it is proposed that Jannello?s Morphic Paradigm is finally the dictionary of all possible geometric forms in the context of the TDE Graphic Language. The presentations of Jannello (1984 [1988]) and Guerri (1984 [1988]) at the IASS-AIS International Congress in Palermo 1984 demonstrate the conceptual difference that will allow Guerri to construct the Tactic Paradigm -the grammar of the combinatorial possibilities of form- and thus the construction of the first graphical language built semiotically as such, and not only as a drawing method as in the case of the two traditional graphical languages. The text of the thesis describes the historical need of different authors regarding the possibility of controlling the pure design operations of works of architecture or art in general. The tracings-popularized by Le Corbusier- as an attempt to control form, and which are as old as architecture itself, now have logical criteria to be realized and therefore also to be able to establish logically valid comparisons between the design strategies of different periods and authors. The relatively rapid development of TDE was due to Jannello's brilliant original idea, to my logical-Peircean based semiotic training, and to the invaluable work of teachers and students. In addition, since 1994, Carlos G. González has developed TDE-AC (www.tdeac.com.ar, V4.65.1a), a graphical software that facilitates the application and teaching of TDE in the Morphology Department at FADU-UBA.
