Analysis focuses on the correlation of movements between people and animals, either when the shepherd walks with his sheep or in the bodily ways of relating to the cougar, one of the area’s usual predators. From a phenomenological perspective based on the concept of intercorporeality, it can be concluded that the movements and body gestures of shepherds and animals can be considered as a way of interspecific communication, through which intentions and moods become readable to one another while sharing the same physical and experiential context.     El objetivo de este trabajo es explorar las relaciones que los pobladores de áreas rurales de la Quebrada de Humahuaca establecen con los animales (ya sean domésticos o no), a partir de las movilidades inherentes a la práctica del pastoreo. El foco del análisis está puesto en la articulación de los movimientos entre ambos, ya sea cuando el pastor camina junto con sus ovejas o en los modos corporales que tiene de relacionarse con el puma, uno los de depredadores habituales de la zona. Desde una perspectiva fenomenológica basada en el concepto de intercorporalidad, se puede concluir que los movimientos y los gestos corporales de los pastores y de los animales pueden ser considerados como un modo de comunicación interespecífica, mediante la cual las intenciones y los estados de ánimo de unos se vuelven legibles para los otros dentro de un mismo contexto físico y experiencial.  O objetivo deste texto é explorar as relações que os povoadores das áreas rurais na Quebrada de Humahuaca estabelecem com animais (domésticos ou não), com base na mobilidade inerente à prática de pastoreio. O foco da análise está na articulação dos movimentos entre os dois, seja quando o pastor acompanha as suas ovelhas ou nas formas corporais de se relacionar com o puma, um felino e predador habitual da área.
