Sumario: | Social conflict during the 70s in Tucumán, province which has had the sugar agroindustry as main economic activity since the late 19th century, was used for some sectors to justify the repressive action of the Armed Forces. In this article, we aim to analyse social conflictive dynamics in Tucumán during the 60s and 70s. This case condensed background trends in the context of State Terrorism during the 1976 dictatorship, in the line of social conflict, economic concentration and workforce disciplinary process. |
