In this sense, the role and the importance of the dissemination of knowledge in the field of the humanities and social sciences which are commensurate with the demands of the digital society and which, in turn, respond with understanding and trasformation intentions is presented of society that has the social appropriation of science and technology. This is a reflection of limitations in process of social appropriation of science and technology arising anachronistic and neo-liberal policies on copyright and owned. Pair culminating with a proposal for diffusion of knowledge in the afield of the humanities and social sciences from the open access. Las nuevas tendencias en investigación en el campo de las humanidades y las ciencias sociales dentro del ecosistema digital posibilitan la reflexión sobre el papel de las humanidades en la llamada cibercultura. En este sentido, se presentan el papel y la importancia de la difusión de conocimientos en el campo de las humanidades y las ciencias sociales que estén acordes con las demandas de la sociedad digital y que, a su vez, respondan a las intenciones originarias de comprensión y transformación de la sociedad que posee la apropiación social de ciencia y tecnología. Para esto, se presenta una reflexión sobre las limitaciones al proceso de apropiación social de ciencia y tecnología surgidas a partir de políticas anacrónicas y neoliberales sobre derechos de autor y propiedad integral.
