Sumario:The implementation of neoliberalism politics provoked different types of reactions in the corporations that represent Argentinian capitalists and landlords.In this paper we aim to explore the role played by one ofthe associations that actively supported the development of such process along the years of its implementation and consolidation: the Sociedad Rural Argentina(SRA).To do so, we will summarizedifferent analyses of the 1989 crisis, which remains unresolved along the first years of this period. After that, we will review some of the most significant aspects of the previous investigations regarding those corporations and the SRA in partic-ular. Lastly, we will focus on the analysis of its political action, aiming to emphasize the nuances along the period.
