Sumario:The article addresses the role played by the migratory network interwoven by the members of a Ukrainian family that migrated to Argentina -in different stages- in the 90s. It arises from the result of interviews conducted between 2021 and 2022 in the framework of the preparation of a thesis of the bachelor’s degree of Social Work (Universidad Nacional del Litoral) that aimed to reconstruct the biographical trajectories of migrants. Transnationalism -perspective from which this text is positioned- understands migratory networks as a complex system of social relations that plays a key role throughout the migratory process, from the decision to emigrate to settlement in the place of destination, thus fixing the origin, orientation and directionality of the flows. From the story of the protagonists, it is possible to affirm that the migration studied here is the result of the connections established by the migrant family with individual and collective agents settled in Argentina, with whom they had and/or established ties of kinship, familiarity, friendship and nationality. The operation of the network allowed the realization of the migratory project, providing economic aid, facilitating communication, providing lodging, among others.
