Sumario:The last 50 years have shown population growth and a lifestyle under the values of agroecology has been developed in El Bolsón, Argentina. The production of agroecological food is in the peri-urban area, shaping local identity and development. The advance of tourism and real estate interest influenced the municipality to promote changes in land use, expanding the urban areas in what were productive/rural areas. Through the Camino de los Nogales site, this work proposes to analyze, from the ecological policy approach, changes in land use and problematizes agricultural production and the development model of the provincial and municipal government. The case of the Rizoma group/Fundación Cultivo ecological is original to the process we study, allowing us to observe the tensions between local public policies oriented toward tourism and real estate interest, to the detriment of the lifestyle and agroecological production of the local population.
