| Sumario: | Internationalization has gained a prominent role in the higher education agenda, and in recent years universities around the world have intensified their efforts to internationalize. From a situated context, the article aims to propose strategies for strengthening the internationalization process of the Universidade Federal dos Vales do Jequitinhonha e Mucuri (UFVJM). Initially, a brief contextualization of the institution and its internationalization process is presented. It then outlines proposals for strengthening this process at UFVJM, as well as the expected results. This article is relevant to reflect on the current institutional scenario and to think of strategies to improve institutional practice in the field of internationalization. |
