Sumario:This writing is part of the Research Project V 121 "Adolescence on the edges of today. Psychoanalysis, institution and pandemic" Directed by B.C. and Prof. Marina La Vecchia and co-directed by Dr. Gabriel Pavelka. It arises from experiences that took place in a clinical internship aimed at accompanying a group of “trans children and adolescents” and their adult references. The development aims to take a tour of the Gender Identity Law No. 26,743 and the diagnosis of “gender dysphoria” proposed by the DSM V, where it will be questioned whether it could be cultural. From this and resorting to experiences that practice offers us, the aim is to reflect on the fifth capitalist discourse, the place that said diagnosis occupies in culture and the subject.
