Sumario:The aim of the article is to describe aspects of a complex game in which certain forms of “being peronist” were forged “from above” and “from below”, in a dynamic that can be pursued historically. First, the article characterizes instances of production of the condition of Peronist of ordinary actors by following the construction of proofs of identity and discusses the significance of those situated actions in the genesis of ways of being within Peronism. Secondly, the article explores scenarios in which those identity proofs where concretely mobilized, modifying the place of the actors face to situated conflicts and local realities. Finally, some reflections about the problem of identity in Peronism from a perspective of pragmatic history are presented.
