| Sumario: | Participation in the decisions made and activities carried out in a community or region are essential for the consolidation of more democratic and inclusive societies. Real participation occurs whenmembers in a group, through their actions, govern their decisions, which are implemented and evaluated permanently. In order to do so, young people should have the right, means, space, opportunity, and if necessary, the promotion and support to participate and influence on decisions, as well as take part in actions and activities during their youth, rather than later in life. The aim of this work is to offer a look of our perception as regards active youth participation at present. Itshows the progress and challenges pending on this subject matter. |
