Sumario: | This essay makes a balance of social participation within the regional integration processes in South America during the period of these called progressive governments. It analyzes the participation mechanisms and the perceptions of the civil society organizations that influenced the relation they establish With them. These organizations face three dilemmas: toparticipate or not even if they perceive that those processes bring few outcomes for them; to participate even if they perceive that the processes do not express a clear way to emancipation, and to contribute with the spontaneous processes of integration even if they consider them as not been transformatives. |
