| Sumario: | The objective of this study is to identify and analyze the presence of obstacles in the implementation of Law Nº 26.150 National Comprehensive Sexual Education Program (ESI National Program). This work is predominantly qualitative, exploratory and descriptive. The sample consisted of teachers and students belonging to two secondary schools in the downtown area of the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina. Two questionnaires were made, one addressed to teachers and the other to students, obtaining 22 valid answers from the first group and 34 from the second group. Descriptive statistics and content analysis were extracted from the data obtained. The answer to the questionnaires to teachers indicated the presence of obstacles with the implementation of sexual education in pedagogical practices, which could be linked to a certain deficit in teacher’s training on the subject understudy, and with few institutional strategies that promote work with students and their families. Likewise, the analysis of the student questionnaires revealed the need for comprehensive sexual education sustained over time and with contents that transcend the biological and reproductive aspects of the matter in question. It was concluded about the importance of generating institutional spaces for training and reflection that promote the integration of the ESI Program in the educational project, taking into account the needs of the student and the context in which they are immersed. |
