| Sumario: | This paper presents a case study on a recruitment commission and the ways of resistance carried out by the community to avoid the dispatch of their men to the battle front. Based on the analysis of a military judicial file, we propose to investigate the different strategies adopted by the inhabitants and vecinos of the village of Pocho in the countryside of the province of Córdoba during the revolutionary war. The research will also allow us to examine the involvement of different authorities in a year when the revolution had multiple open fronts and an uncertain future. |
