| Sumario: | The purpose of this article is to analyze the General Confederation of Argentine Labor (CGTA) as a space of confluence of actors and demands that exceeded the strictly union. In the first place, the associative components existing in Argentine trade unionism that made possible the formation of this labor union as an articulator of the political opposition to the self-styled “Argentine Revolution” are examined. Second, based on the examination of a wide range of sources, the conditions of possibility of this experience, its characteristics and limitations are investigated. |
