Sumario:This article proposes to take a look at the construction of childhood in contexts of rurality and social inequality, from a perspective anchored in social history. To do this, it goes to the territorial delimitation of the rural region of Argentine Patagonia as a case study between the end of the XX century in order to contribute to a history of marginality. It is proposed as a critical study based on a wide bibliography dedicated to this subject and leaves, as a substantial contribution, some theoretical and methodological notes for its approach.
