| Sumario: | This article addresses the reporting mechanism in situations of gender-based violence, examining its legal approach, the obstacles of the judicial system, and the role of health personnel as assistants to this system. Through interviews with professionals from primary health care services, the gaps between what health protocols propose and the actual processes of detection and care for women in situations of gender-based violence are described, highlighting tensions between the logic of reporting and the logic of care. The notions of victim and agency in the care processes in the health system are investigated, reflecting on the possibilities and obstacles contained in the reporting processes for gender-based violence, and the tensions with health processes. |
