Sumario:The topic of the mourning is a motive that appears with certain frequency in Baudelaire's poetry and prose. The backdrop on which are outlined the black suits and the dresses of mourning is the city, his movement of surge of the multitudes. But also in the feeling of the duel, in the intimate space of the memories that come to the call rhythmic of the verse, it finds the meaning and the function of the waste as axis to whose around is organized the poetry, the sign of his uselessness that stops, in the writing, the fast step of the urban inhabitants.
