Sumario:Access to water and sanitation represent fundamental human rights that in recent years have been recognized by various actors and normative instruments of the international community. In this way, water related issues acquired a new connotation when analyzed from the human rights perspective. According to the constitutional guidelines of Argentina, challenges related to access to water and sanitation interpellate the national and provincial levels. In this context, the Argentine provinces elaborated strategies through their international decentralized cooperation with OFID to meet their local development demands regarding access to water and sanitation with a marked South-South tune.
