Sumario: | This paper present part of a research concerning different devices of mental health care in the Hospital T. Borda located at Buenos Aires, in Argentina. It was developed an ethnographic fieldwork throughout one year, applying systematically participant observation of the workshops. We explore the symbolism and the ritual character that acquires the work in the workshops, we question some ideas with regard to the dissolution, erosion or disappearance of links, networks or social rituals at contemporary societies, analyzing the potential of participant observation technic as via to access to daily rituals at contemporary societies. |
