Sumario:This paper deals about the usefulness of the implementation of new technologies, such as drones, photogrammetry, virtual environments and 3D printing, as a source of knowledge and support in the processes of registration, analysis, conservation and dissemination of the archaeological heritage. Specifically, we will expose the practical application of these techniques for the reconstruction and three-dimensional recreation of the coastal batteries and the developing of the battle happened on November 20, 1845 in Vuelta de Obligado (Buenos Aires, Argentina). The ultimate aim was to facilitate the transmission of the knowledge generated after archaeological investigations on the site, seeking to achieve a representation as complete and accurate as possible of the historical process. Also, these recreations not only provide others modes of perception, but also allow a clearer and more precise explanation of the site, the archaeological record and its interpretation, favoring the understanding of the complexity of the war field of the battle. The self-created modeling achieved (not coming from reality or parallels) admit his use as a didactic resource and for dissemination of heritage for colleagues, scientists and society in general, at the same time that allowed us to generate, as a tool, new archaeological questions or expectations regarding the site.
