Sumario:This paper reports experiences of archaeological work in former Clandestine Detention Centers in the city of Cordoba, Argentina, based on demands of the Federal Justice. From there it is reflected how, through archaeological work, the encounter with the material remains of the detentions and forced disappearances of people who passed through those centers allows those forced absences to become presences, in a here and now that are materialized through the relationships established between those physical contexts, the personal experiences at those spaces that today are places of memory and the different subjectivities, with effects in the present.
