For this, relevant aspects of the law are presented, a balance of the infrastructure and policies in this field in Bogotá as a context, and aspects of the implementation and execution of its economic resources are detailed. Therefore, it is intended to show the tensions between the purposes of the law and its application, which raise questions about cultural policy in the field of infrastructure. El presente trabajo expone aspectos relacionados con la implementación de la Ley 1493 de 2011 realizadas por un gobierno local en la ciudad de Bogotá durante el periodo 2012-2015, en particular, los referidos a financiación de la construcción, adecuación, mejoramiento y dotación de infraestructura de escenarios para las artes escénicas. Para ello, se presentan aspectos relevantes de la ley, un balance de la infraestructura y de las políticas en este campo en Bogotá como contexto y se detallan aspectos de la implementación y la ejecución de sus recursos económicos. Por tanto, se pretende evidenciar las tensiones entre los propósitos de la ley y su aplicación, las cuales plantean preguntas sobre la política cultural en el ambito de la infraestructura.
