Sumario:Adopting a multiculturalist anthropological perspective, national governments (2003-2015) elaborated and implemented cultural policies from a federal and decentralizing point of view and bet on cultural diversity and economic development from the sector. To account for this, the national cultural institution is identified, as explained by the officials of the cultural portfolio, the most relevant plans, programs and projects, the budget allocated and the impact of culture on the total economy, in order to recognize similarities between the delimited objectives, the lines of action implemented and the results of the cultural policies of the period.
