description The article critically addresses three moments of Frantz Fanon's theoretical production referring to the colonized and racialized body: lived experience, destruction and self-creation. In the first section, the centrality of the concept of experience in his work Black Skin, White Masks is reviewed, giving importance to the psycho-affective seizures suffered by the black body and the postponement of its action projection. Afterwards, the philosophical fold displayed by the destruction of experience and the critical relevance of what Fanon defines as historical-racial and epidermal-racial schemes are discussed in the framework of the ocular power of anti-black racism. In a third section, the philosophy of interruption and invention that inhabits fanonian texts is investigated, and it is concluded that the possibility of another historical-political imagination dwells in Fanon thanks to the actional and inventive character that is given to the body in a decolonized policy.
